Abstract/Contents: | In an experiment from Aug. 1970 to Nov. '71 it was found that the most suitable method of pelleting Italian ryegrass was to mix 5-10 g seed with 50-100 g slaked lime, 20-40 g peat, 10-20 g urea, 40-50 g calcium phosphate, 10-20 g KCl and 60-80 ml synthetic resin. The optimum size for pellets was (10 mm in diam. Pelleting had no adverse effect on germination and beneficial effects of the fertilizers were noted about 60 days after sowing. F.en s. |
