Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the difficulties experienced by Michigan golf courses during the summer of 1995. Due to the high temperatures and high humidity, cool-season grasses were killed or injured heavily. These problems led to the proliferation of diseases usually uncommon in Michigan -- Pythium blight and brown patch. Courses also suffered from having inadequate irrigation and drainage systems. |
