Abstract/Contents: | Discusses experimental objectives of plant health and vigour relating soil microbial populations to above-ground plant performance. Tests looked for bacterial populations in the soil of greens at several golf courses in Vancouver. Bacterial populations were evaluated in response to different cultural practices. Includes information about ongoing experiments relating soil fertility to microbial activity. |
