Abstract/Contents:Discusses possible reasons for the increase of moss on bentgrass putting greens, including lower cutting heights and the discontinuance of mercury-based fungicides. Describes what mosses are and how they survive. Suggests using older control products containing heavy metals. Mentions that one of the most common mosses on bentgrass is the Bryum argenteum.
