Abstract/Contents: | Discusses how to determine the use of a pre-emergent herbicide on a lawn in the fall after a hot, dry summer. Suggests that if the lawn is brown, thin, or not actively growing, a herbicide should not be used. Also suggests watering as deeply as possible but infrequently to promote better growth. |
