Abstract/Contents: | Seeds of 4 plant species were germinated in the laboratory after 3 years' storage at 20 deg C. Matricaria chamomilla (= M. recutita) and Poa annua seeds gave almost 100% germination under any conditions. For Solanum nigrum an alternating temp. was necessary for germination and with Thlaspi arvense a high germination percentage was obtained only when stratification, alternating temp. and a fertilizer solution were employed.
