Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study performed to "determine optimum creeping bentgrass seed rate; evaluate microbial seed treatment on seeding survival and suppression of seedling disease; and assess the impact of seed rates and treatments on the incidence of foliar and root disease in the mature turfgrass stand", with the long term goal of finding turfgrass establishment programs that create stress-tolerant, disease-resistant turf stands that rely less on pesticides. Findings are discussed. |
