Abstract/Contents: | "Various herbicides and rates were evaluated postemergence for crabgrass control on an established stand of Kentucky bluegrass." Acclaim provided excellent postemergence crabgrass control. Dimension, normally a preemergence herbicide, took three to five weeks to totally eliminate the crabgrass, but did stunt the crabgrass in ten to fourteen days. "Dimension in combination with MSMA (Daconate) is not extremely effective beyond the three to four tiller stage. It will produce stunting but kill may not occur." |
