Abstract/Contents:Twenty cultivars of four species of bentgrass (Agrostis spp.) were tested for resistance to dollar spot and brown patch. "Comparatively high levels of resistance were observed in individual varieties, but no variety displayed a level of resistance to either disease adequate to obviate chemical control." An accompanying table records the number of dollar spot infection centers and the approximate density of brown patch for each species.
