Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the problem that the United States is having with developing appropriate environmental policies aimed at protecting children. Examines the overreaction of officials, sources of evidence , the health of children, and the statistics for auses of childhood injury and death. Concludes that environmental concerns are not as important as other causes of fetal and childhood injury, such as maternal alcohol abuse. |
