Abstract/Contents: | Discusses an experiment at the Calverton National Cemetery designed to "examine the efficacy of prostrate spurge control of several pre and post emergence materials." In the preemergence study, results indicate that "visual ratings of weed control in late August and September did indicate a wide range in the degree of control"; and in the postemergence study, results show that "best postemergent control of prostrate spurge was obtained with the following herbicides at the high rates: Turflon D, Buctril, Weedone DPC, Trimec and Bas 514 (quinclorac)." |
