Abstract/Contents: | "The Se content of timothy analysed from 250 sites throughout Finland ranged from 1.3 to 54.4 mu g/kg with a mean of 7 mu g/kg. Se uptake was affected by Se content of the soil, enhanced by soil OM content and decreased by high soil pH. The levels of Se in timothy were below the min. requirement for animals (50 mu g/kg)." |
