Abstract/Contents: | Discusses an experiment designed to "evaluate alternative control agents (entomopathogenic nematodes, inorganic sulfur, insect growth regulators, and fungal pathogens) against black cutworm larvae in the laboratory and greenhouse." States that "products [were] chosen based upon the likelihood of commercialization." Results indicate that "the products tested in our simple bioassays show significant activity and merit further studies in more elaborate systems." Also reports that "studies in progress utilize turf/soil microcosms and application methods designed to simulate field application technology." |
