| Abstract/Contents: | Fructosanase activity in sliced timothy haplocorms increased to a max. after about 24 h of incubation and was not affected by the presence of GA3 or kinetin, but activity continued to increase during a 48-h test when slices were treated with IAA. IAA had no effect on invertase activity. Haplocorm fructosan content was inversely related to fructosanase activity. |
