Abstract/Contents:	"Third instar white grubs in a mixed population of the southern masked chafer, Cyclocephala immaculata Olivier, and Phyllophaga crinita (Burmeister) in hybrid bermudagrass were treated with various insecticides in three separate experiments (G8501, G8502, and G8503). In G8501, products tested were chlorpyrifos 0.5G, diazinon 5G, fonofos 4.6MS, fonofos 5G, chlorpyrifos 4E, and fenitrothion 8EC; the best control came from diazinon 5G and from treatments containing fonofos. No grubs were recovered from plots treated with fonofos 4.6MS plus AquaGro®. In G8502, materials tested were UC70480 10G, UC70667 10G, UC70667 3EC, UCSF 48 20 percent, carbaryl 80S, carbaryl 4SL, and diazinon 5G; the most UCSF complete control was produced by UCSF48 and UC70667 3EC at their high rates, by diazinon 5G, and by various rates of carbaryl 4SL. In G8503, tested insecticides were ethoprop 5G, ethoprop 10G, and diazinon 5G; no treatments were effective in this late-season test."
