Abstract/Contents: | "The trial to establish calcium compound quantities in grasses, on the basis of their solubility degree in water, acetic acid, and hydrochloric acid, proved–in our opinion–to be interesting and may be of practical importance. There occur conspicuous differences in quantitative ratios of those three calcium groups, both in grass species and in their varieties. It was found that those ratios varied during the vegetation period and depended also upon nitrogen fertilization levels." |
