Abstract/Contents: | Briefly describes a government issues briefing that the GCSAA government relations staff conducted at the 1998 New York State Turfgrass Association Turf and Grounds Exposition. States that "superintendents in New York heard bad news about the future of pesticide use in their state, where attempts to ban pesticide use by government-owned facilities are expected to be widespread." Explains that at the meeting "folders were distributed with background information and tools for superintendents to use in fighting local pesticides bans." |
