Abstract/Contents: | Spring Dead Spot (SDS) is a major disease of bermudagrass turf. The cause remains unknown, however, research suggests the primary causal agent to be one or more pathogenic fungi. Factors which influence the disease include low winter temperature, lack of drainage in high clay content soils, and thatch accumulation. |
