Abstract/Contents: | Examines how preemergence herbicides work and why they may occasionally fail to give season-long control due to the processes of volatilization, photo-decomposition, microbial decomposition and leaching. Provided is a solution to prevent preemergence herbicide loss through supplemental applications to boost the soil concentration of the herbicide. |
