Abstract/Contents: | Discusses plant swelling caused by nematode infections on Poa annua plants. Discusses the lack of chemical and biological control of nematodes. Addresses concern regarding the current product used to supress and control Anguina will no longer be available. Presents a study to find a new product to help supress the disease. Results include that a strong correlation between an increase number of Anguina galls and an increase in Anguina damage. Concludes that an alternative control product needs to be identified in order to control Anguina pacificae on Poa annua putting greens. |
