| Abstract/Contents: | "Intensive cultural practices of lawns do not prevent the spread of weeds, however, the timing of herbicide application can be delayed considerably by regular mowing, fertilization and watering. In this context the most common weeds of lawns are named and methods for their control are described. Compounds in herbicides available for lawns are briefly characterized." Included in these characterizations is information pertaining to their toxicity towards bees and fish, as well as the weeds they are most well suited to kill. |
