Abstract/Contents: | "It has been determined that most of the washed sands found in the Pacific Northwest have little or no nutrient supplying power and, therefore, require a full spectrum of nutrients. Since carbon, hydrogen and oxygen are supplied by carbon dioxide and water, we will concentrate on the other 13 elements which include: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as the major plant food elements, sulfur, calcium and magnesium as secondary elements, and boron, copper, iron, molybdenum, manganese, zinc and chlorine as trace minerals. |
