Abstract/Contents:Briefly discusses a study of a creeping bentgrass cultivar, "CY-2," that has high resistance to dollar spot and brown patch. States that "CY-2" "maintained uniform medium-dark green color even in winter and high-quality putting surface in [the] summer." Also states that "CY-2" has high potassium and calcium tissue concentrations. Shows diseaese severity of dollar spot and brown patch in creeping bentgrass for 2003. Concludes that "it is necessary to consider the relation between the disease ratings of dollar spot and the mineral concentrations of the leaf tissue in the future."
