| Abstract/Contents: | Profiles research examining "the effect of a soil surfactant application on a wettable and a non-wettable soil." Provides details of the study and states that "ACA 1820...was evaluated to determine its effect on volumetric water content, water repellency, turf quality and turf color on a wettable and a non-wettable soil. The study was conducted on a bentgrass fairway on a sandy loam soil in Cologne, New Jersey." Results indicate that "the application of a soil surfactant on a wettable and a non-wettable soil does not increase soil volumetric water content. However, the use of a soil surfactant does not significantly lowe water repellency when compared to the control." |
