| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a four-year study comparing ACA1820 to a hydroxyl terminated methyl oxirane-oxirane copolymer and states that each chemical was evaluated for "safety to fine turfgrass, reduction of soil water repellency, longevity of performance, rootzone moisture dynamics, turf performance (including quality, color, and density), and plant water and physiological status subsequent to the imposition of stress." Results suggest that ACA1820 "provided better access to small pores and thus better acces to macro- and micro-nutrients and potentially to the the viability of soil micro-organisms active in mineralization. As rootzone hydrological conditions became more homogenous, an environment for better turf performance and for better control of playing conditions resulted." |
