| Abstract/Contents: | Presents an observation of golf courses in the United Kingdom over a time period of three years. Addresses general concerns including anthracnose, a common disease that "affects grass plants that are under stress." Reports on a number of other diseases that have infected turfgrass development including fairy ring, red thread and take-all patch. Suggests that "although cultural management will help to reduce the chance of disease occurrence, fungicides may be required to control any outbreaks." |
