Abstract/Contents:"Carrotweed is troublesome in bowling greens principally because it is so invasive and spreads rapidly. Sometimes during the season it can spread to cover an area up to the size of a 50 cent piece then towards the middle of the season forms a hard woody crown which sits down in the green causing a 'bump'." Hand weeding and spot treatment seem to produce the best results in controlling this problem.
