| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of the 2005 Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) Compensation Survey. States that "many golf facilities across Canada use this survey as a benchmark for salary and benefit packages. It provides a valuable resource in negotiating and determining annual salaries." Lists the average 2004 salaries for assistant superintendent, equipment technician, foreman, horticulturalist, irrigation technician, spray technician, and laborer. States that "superintendents in Canada had an average increase in salary of three percent in 2004, for an average salary of $62,481." Concludes that "the data collected from the 2004 survey allows for virtually endless combinations of factors to be used for comparison purposes." |
