Abstract/Contents: | Profiles the MNLA Summer Field Day held at Michigan State University's Horticulture Teaching and Research Center (HTRC). Describes several "of the current projects that MSU faculty are working on to support the Michigan nursery and landscape industry". These projects include: fate and metabolism of 14-C imidacloprid in ash trees; exotic firs; new conifers for Michigan landscapes; using semiaquatic ornamental plants to filter herbicide from nursery runoff water; green roof research; and influence of mulch depth and fertilizer on the establishment of ground covers in the landscape. |
