| Abstract/Contents: | The Federal Horticultural Show at Stuttgart in 1977 covered 12 hectares of meadow and 8 hectares of turf, of which the botanical composition is shown in tables. The appearance of the meadow type of grassland was generally unsatisfactory. The three different turfgrass mixtures gave swards which were satisfactory on level ground but not dense encough on slopes. The Show did not include any information on the construction of turf areas or any comparative turf demonstrations. |
