Abstract/Contents: | Brief article on the test pitches at Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North, N.Z. The squared allow all possible combinations of four clay soils, 55mm and 150mm soil depths and soil and sand bases to be investigated. Performance as to speed and angle of deflection will be evaluated. Various pitch preparation techniques will also be tried and the effects quantified. |
