| Abstract/Contents: | Compares the efficiency of six acetolactate synthase enzymes and presents a study to determine the effectiveness of enzymes on purple nutsedge. Results included that "purple nutsedge control using ALS herbicides was most effective with two or three timely applications at four to six week intervals [and that] a single application was effective in controlling nutsedge for only approximately one month" Concludes that "bermudagrass turf did not exhibit any injury symptoms or discoloration following any ALS herbicide application." |
