Abstract/Contents:Discusses the possibility of fertilizers dissolving in surface water runoff and contaminating lakes, streams, and other bodies of water. Provides recommendations for reducing the potential for nutrient runoff. Concludes that "multiple mowing heights result in multiple barriers that slow runoff and reduce runoff volume."
