| Abstract/Contents: | Describes an experiment to test the aluminum tolerance of 10 warm-season turfgrasses. Describes the parameters of the experiment and provides tables that give the results of the experiment. Discusses the turfgrasses, Japanese lawngrass, manillagrass, and carpet grass, that were most tolerant of the Aluminum (Al) levels used in the experiment. States that "future research is needed to investigate the two species at the cultivar level to understand their mechanisms of Al tolerance." |
