Abstract/Contents: | Describes reed bed research conducted at Notts Golf Club in Nottinghamshire, England. Concludes that "overall the reed bed system does not match the recycling systems such as Waste2Water for their ability to treat waste water contaminated with pesticides and fuel spills. However, for those clubs such as Notts that only wish to treat the water from machinery washdown areas, the installation of a reed bed filtration system is a low cost initiative, which is well worth considering." |
