Abstract/Contents: | Profiles billbugs including the bluegrass billbug, the hunting billbug, and the Denver billbug. Describes the use of nematodes, or microscopic roundworms, that may help reduce billbug problems. Concludes that billbug problems can be prevented "by planting varieties of grass that discourage billbugs and watering your lawn as needed to keep it healthy. If billbugs are damaging your lawn, beneficial nematodes are an effective, pesticide-free solution to this problem." |
