Abstract/Contents: | Discusses poor maintenance of teeing-grounds and their effect on the game. Divides tees "into three classes: First, the dirt tee; second, the grass tee with all the grass worn off; and third, the first-class tee, nicely cut and rolled" and states that the dirt tee is the worst of the three. Provides the characteristics of a first-class tee and maintenance tips to make sure the tee is well-kept. |
