Abstract/Contents:Discusses the problem of unwanted plants growing on a putting green. Lists daisies, dandelions, hawkbits, "the familiar herb Robert," plantago, rib-grass, the creeping buttercup, and the yellow melilot as objectionable plants. Provides suggestions for eradicating the plants and states that "the remedy is neither more nor less than to dig these foreigners one by one out by the roots."
