Abstract/Contents: | Briefly profiles the Joondalup Resort Golf Course in western Australia. Discusses how superintendent Jeff Lane handled billbug weevil attacks on cool season grass roughs. Concludes that "Lane said that the length of the cool season mix made it more difficult to water the chemical to control the pest in through the thatch layer where damage was occurring. Chlorpyrifos was applied successfully halting turf loss." |
