Abstract/Contents:List possible ways to control Goosegrass in bermuda annual bluegrass including "pre-emergence herbicides"; "mechanical removal"; "broadcast post-emergence herbicides"; and "spot treatment." Also lists possible prevention methods including fertilization, irrigation, and traffic. Presents studies concerning the turfgrass surface under compaction. Concludes that "goosegrass shows no tolerance to compaction as commonly believed. Under soil compaction, root and shoot growth decrease. "
