Abstract/Contents:Summary of proper calibration of a boom sprayer for pesticide application. Proper type and size of nozzles is the most important factor in controlling the uniformity, coverage, and amount of drift in spray. Includes calculation for calibration and a table of nozzle spacing and travel distance.
Note:Editorial presents a summary of a workshop on pesticide usage presented at the Iowa Turfgrass Convention.
