Abstract/Contents:Details the process of developing "a Course Management Plan." Lists playing standards, turfgrass management, environmental/ecological management, course development plans, and resource provision as possible starting points in developing a plan. States that "as part of the process, every aspect of course management must be included from mowing heights, target green speeds, irrigation policies and rough management programmes [programs]. The more detail provided, the greater the value of the document." Concludes that "STRI [the Sports Turf Research Institute] [feels] this is an essential process to provide long-term improvements to course condition."
