The Colorado part of the project was: (1) To determine water requirements of urban lawns at two locations in the state; (2) To monitor and evaluate water applications practices used by homeowners in the two cities; (3) To relate lawn management and quality to lawn size, lot size, taxbase and age of development; (4) To develop lawn watering guidelines for various locations in Colorado based upon results of the research." |
