Abstract/Contents: | Briefly profiles the red headed pasture cockchafer (Adoryphorus couloni). States that "destruction of the sward may occur in summer and autumn through the feeding activity of large larvae when [red headed pasture cockchafers] are present at densities of 200 to 500 per square metre [meter]. Heavy infestations can result in the roots of plants being severed to such an extent that the turf can be rolled back in sheets." |
