| Answer/Response: | "The advantages of this type of watering are numerous, the main benefits being as follows: a. Saving of labour - use of hoses and portable sprinklers etc. is completely eliminated. b. No interference with play or work - night watering is possible. c. No difficulties caused by interference with sprinklers and hoses etc. by players. d. Application can be controlled - individual green requirements can be assessed and provided. e. Immediate availability - maintenance operations (fertilizer treatment etc.) can proceed without hold-ups due to weather conditions." |
