Question: | "Is it best to leave grass clippings on the outfield or do they have to be removed? What cutting equipment should we use?" |
Answer/Response: | "Basically this is a question of standards and if you want a fast, high quality outfield, particularly where grass growth is strong, then the clippings should be boxed off. One of the large ride-on-mowers - 36 in. wide or so, with adequate power, would be best for this. If a lower standard is acceptable regular cutting with gang mowers, allowing the clippings to fly, would do." |
