| Abstract/Contents: | Details a study conducted "to evaluation the long term impact of fertility balance on performance of a predominantly annual bluegrass putting green turf." Briefly discusses methods and materials, stating that "the sand based green was established in 2004 using plugs from a local golf course...[and] fertilizer treatments were initiated in spring of 2005. Fertilizer variables include 2 rates of N [nitrogen], P [phosphorus], and K [potassium], a variety of sulfur rates, four rates of calcium, and three rates of Humates." Reports that "no fungicides have been applied to the plots which left...severe Fusarium patch damage during the 2005-2006 winter period." |
