Abstract/Contents:Announces that "the final agreement between the three research partners (CTRF [Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation], AAFC [Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada], Coalition for Responsible Golf) was received at Agriculture and Agri-food Canada on September 8, 2005." Outlines several objectives of the research, including to "identify new isolates of beneficial organisms retained under golf course management system as [a] potential management tool against pest insects" and to "assess the susceptibility of the black cutworm (Agrotis ipsilon) and the European crane fly (Tipula paludosa) to entomopathogenic fungi (Hyphomycetes) such as Beauveria and/or Tolypocladium under laboratory and greenhouse conditions."
