Abstract/Contents: | Reports that "the value of all grass seed species increased 5.4 percent during the 2003-2004 crop year with an increase of 22,291 acres (4.9 percent) in 2004-2005." Suggests that "in spite of the increased grass seed acreage, the big story of the 2004-2005 crop year was low seed yields." Lists the species that had a higher yield during the 2004-2005 crop year than in the 2003-2004 crop year, including chewings fescue, creeping red fescue, and colonial bentgrass. Also lists crops with reduced seed yields. |
