Question:"We would be pleased to have your opinion on the use of coke breeze on tees."
Answer/Response:"This material is used in some instances on inland courses particularly under heavy clay soil conditions. The chief cause of wet, sticky teeing surfaces is often earthworm activity and coke breeze will help dry the surface and discourage worm activity. It may nevertheless pay you to use a wormkiller as well."
